Biocraft Laboratories Inc. has entered the rapid growth phase for its third spider silk production cycle of the season. During this phase, the silkworms grow quickly in preparation for spinning the company’s unique recombinant spider silk cocoons.

As previously mentioned, the company has implemented a batch-rearing process to reduce overcrowding and ensure a steady supply of fresh, dry mulberry during the rainy season. This method supports the health of the silkworm colony and provides optimal conditions for rearing and cocooning.

In the past week, the company has expanded its production space to accommodate the fast-growing silkworms. The company is closely monitoring the health and performance of the entire silkworm colony during this crucial growth period. Reports indicate that the BAM-1 Hybrids are the most robust production strain the company has used.
