Lenzing Group, a global leader in wood-based specialty fibers, has introduced its latest Black Towel Collection. This new range is crafted with Lenzing ECOVERO black viscose fibers and TENCEL black modal fibers, these products cater to the growing consumer demand for quality and sustainable personal care items.

The Black Towel Collection combines cotton with TENCEL™ Modal or LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers, offering exceptional durability, softness, and color vibrancy even after multiple washes. The specialty fibers are derived from controlled wood sources and produced through resource-saving processes, reducing carbon emissions and water consumption by at least 50%.

Additionally, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibers are certified biodegradable and compostable, providing an eco-friendly option for minimizing the carbon footprint of daily care practices. The collection features six essential, washable, and reusable face and body care items, including makeup removal pads, gym towels, bath towels, hand towels, hair bonnets, and beach towels.

Dyed using the spin-dyeing technique, the towels feature rich black pigments integrated directly into the fibers, reducing energy and water use by 50% and cutting the carbon footprint by 60% compared to conventional methods. This process ensures high color fastness, durability, and resistance to discoloration and fabric damage from chlorine exposure.
