Precision Textiles announces an innovative partnership with Unifi, Inc., the producer of REPREVE® recycled performance fiber, integrating the recycled polyester yarn into all its filler cloth products. This groundbreaking move positions Precision Textiles as the first bedding component manufacturer to incorporate REPREVE® recycled performance fiber into its nonwoven products.

Each 100-yard roll of Precision Textiles' ENDURE IFR and ADVANTAGE SB non-woven products will incorporate REPREVE® recycled performance fiber, equivalent to 228 recycled water bottles. This initiative translates to an annual elimination of over 20 million plastic water bottles from waste streams.

By utilizing recycled plastic bottles that would otherwise contribute to landfills or oceans, this fiber provides a sustainable alternative to virgin fibers. Unifi, Inc. emphasizes the reduction in climate change potential through repurposing discarded plastic, mitigating the carbon emissions associated with new material production.
