Spanish company Jeanologia has introduced an upgraded version of its eDesigner software, enhancing digitalization in eco-design for jeans. Launched in 2020, eDesigner has positioned itself as an innovative and eco-efficient alternative to traditional denim design, influencing the future of garment finishing.

The new version of eDesigner boasts a more user-friendly interface and specific tools for jean design, providing a unique and intuitive design experience. Notably, the "Trace" tool utilizes artificial intelligence to generate hyper-realistic designs from a single image.

The software now supports working with digitized fabrics, enhancing hyperrealism through high-definition renders to ensure the design seen on-screen accurately reflects the production outcome—implementing a "What you see is what you get" approach.

eDesigner elevates digitization by enabling the digital creation of patterns and garments, reducing physical samples by 80%. This results in substantial resource savings and a significant reduction in the carbon footprint associated with transporting physical samples. Users can digitally create cufflinks, combining digital patterns (eFit) with digital fabrics (eFabric), offering an authentic experience to analyze wash applications on fabrics.

These innovations contribute to shortened product development times, eliminating the need for extensive physical samples and reducing unnecessary shipping costs globally.
