Clothing manufacturer Interloop Limited and denim consultancy Simply Suzette are teaming up to create a new eco-friendly collection named "Unpeeled." This collection emphasizes the concept of "farm to fashion."

The "Unpeeled" collection is crafted using Interloop’s Loomshake yarn, a unique product spun from a combination of cotton and banana fiber. The range includes men's and women's clothing, paying homage to the farmers who contribute to the garment-making process and are often overlooked.

Loomshake yarn was created with a focus on environmental responsibility, utilizing materials sourced from discarded resources and transforming them into stylish, eco-friendly designs, according to Ani Wells, the founder of Simply Suzette.

The collaboration utilizes both Interloop's technological innovations and Simply Suzette's eco-conscious philosophy. They employ CLO 3D apparel design software and innovative spinning methods to demonstrate that garment design can be both technologically advanced and fashionable simultaneously.

Traceability is a crucial aspect, achieved through Interloop’s proprietary Looptrace technology. It provides consumers with the complete history of a garment, starting from its origin on a farm field. The objective of Simply Suzette and Interloop is to inspire others in the fashion industry to embrace novel materials such as banana fiber and grape leather.

The collection features various clothing items, including jeans, a belted jumpsuit, a denim shacket, and a denim skirt. A distinctive tag displaying a banana graphic signifies the collection's unique origins.
