Lands' End, the well-known American lifestyle brand, has teamed up with global recycled cotton fiber producers called Recoverâ„¢ to introduce a sustainable denim collection made from recycled fiber.
The two companies have collaborated to create eco-friendly denim clothing in classic styles for both men and women. These pieces incorporate 20% of Recover's recycled cotton fiber, which comes from leftover textile waste.
By using Recover's high-quality recycled cotton fiber, the environmental impact of the clothing is significantly reduced compared to items made from new materials. This partnership demonstrates how discarded textile materials can be brought back into the production process, promoting a more sustainable approach.
Additionally, the use of Recover's recycled cotton fiber aligns with Lands' End's goal of adopting a circular business model.
Boris Mercier, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Recover™, shared, "We're excited to collaborate with a well-known American brand like Lands’ End to advance global sustainable efforts and offer eco-conscious fashion to consumers."
Kym Maas, Senior Vice President of Product and Merchandising at Lands’ End, mentioned, "Lands’ End is dedicated to improving our environment and lessening our ecological impact with the support of partners like Recover™. We are eagerly anticipating the launch of our denim collection for men and women during the upcoming fall/holiday season."
