The EU's plans to outlaw PFAS will have a profound effect on businesses all across the world. Probably even more than anticipated, given that many producers don't know whether or not their product line contains PFAS chemicals. A significant proposal to limit PFAS in the EU was released a few weeks ago. The proposal's five supporting EU member states put forth a wide limitation proposal that amply demonstrates the need for the sector to use all available resources to gradually phase out all PFAS chemicals.
