Germany-based Freudenberg Performance Materials (Freudenberg), has received its first EcoVadis Silver Medal for its two UK sites in Littleborough and Ebbw Vale.

At these two facilities, the business produces ostomy items and sophisticated wound care solutions. EcoVadis bestows the prize in recognition of the organization's achievements in the areas of the environment, ethics, labor, human rights, and sustainable procurement. With its two sites in Ebbw Vale and Littleborough, Freudenberg Performance Materials LP now belongs to the top 25% of EcoVadis-rated businesses.

Dr. Henk Randau, General Manager and SVP of the Global Business Division Healthcare at Freudenberg Performance Materials, said that the continual application of their sustainability plan is confirmed by the positive EcoVadis assessment.
