Canada Goose has launched a capsule collection made from recycled feather-light ripstop as part of its pledge to use 90% preferred fibers and materials by 2025, including recycled and organic materials.

According to Canada Goose, the five-piece HumanNature capsule is meant for both people and the environment, and it is the brand's largest collection made with preferred fibers and materials since its Sustainable Impact Strategy was introduced last year.

HumanNature collection features Canada Goose's Standard Expedition Parka, as well as 4 brand-new overcoats and puffers for men and women, all produced with recycled feather-light ripstop, the recycled version of the brand's patented fabric.

Each style is made from 100% recycled Nylon, which retains the performance characteristics of the sustainable version of the feather-light ripstop, making them durable, water-repellent, and lightweight. They also have cashmere touchpoints for enhanced comfort, as well as adjustable and removable features that allow them to be worn in a variety of seasons and weather conditions.

Furthermore, the down used in the HumanNature capsule is 100% responsibly sourced, in accordance with Canada Goose's Sustainable Impact Strategy, with the company attaining Responsible Down Standard (RDS) accreditation in November 2021.

The capsule is finished in a natural monochromatic undyed 'Griege' colorway, which Canada Goose describes as "purposeful." The business has cut down on the chemicals and water used in the dyeing process by not dyeing these garments.

The brand says that the "distinguished palette" will continue as it extends its sustainable outerwear, apparel, and accessories. "Griege" is an exclusive feature of Canada Goose's HumanNature collections, which originally appeared with the Standard Expedition Parka.

The HumanNature capsule collection from Canada Goose is available at select Canada Goose stores worldwide and on the company's website. The starting price is £1,495 pounds.
