Huntsman Textile Effects have launched Lanasol CE dyes which is a sustainable alternative to chrome dyes for wool. The company is based in Singapore and the dye provides a consistent, safe and reliable dying process that has the potential to replace the traditional chrome dyes used on wool. They comply with the ZDHC MRSLstandards and meet the stringent requirement developments.
Under the ZDHC Manufacturing Restricted Substances List, Chrome VI is banned along with Dichromate. Huntsman urges the users of wool processors working with brands and retailers who have adopted ZDHC MRSL to replace their chrome dyes.
The Huntsman Textile Effects have developed the Lanasol CE as a state of the art chrome-free dye to meet the challenges. This introduction facilitated many mills to transition into a chrome-free dying technique.
Alessandro Largi, the global marketing manager for wool at Huntsman Textile Effects stated that Lanasol Ce has always been recognized as the leading brand among the wool industry. He further stated that their innovative dyeing auxiliaries and successful dyeing systems provide the highest technical performance allowing customers to protect the natural beauty of wool. He concluded by stating that the process saved water, energy and time while making chrome dyes obsolete.
