In Pakistan, 30s spun polyester prices were up US cents 32 a kg on the month.

In the third week of October, producers in Pakistan continued to sell in small batches, and both domestic and export markets reported poor performance.

Players had weak confidence on the future sentiment, and buying interest was low, mainly for rigid demand.

In India, polyester yarn 30 knitting yarns prices were up US cents 2 a kg in the third week of October in Ludhiana market while they were steady in Indore market.

Prices of polyester spun yarn in India were kept largely steady, except that some specs which saw price rising marginally.

In China, offers for polyester yarn 32s in Shengze inched up US cents 2 a kg while 45s were also up US cent 1 a kg.

In Qianqing, offers for 32s polyester yarn were steady during the week.

Spun polyester markets in China were stable to up that week as mainstream offers for 32s and 45s inched up in Shengze of Jiangsu while 32s polyester yarn was mainly offered steady in Qianqing.
