Ludhiana one of the leaders in textile industry has decided to go high-tech by starting a common online portal for the ease of business in which they would have 100 manufacturers and retailers. This online portal which is seen as an endeavor to popularize the Indian brands especially the one from city.

Director Cotton Country (Nahar Group) Rishabh Oswal informed that they would be launching this portal on Monday. Their aim is to get 1000 retailers on this portal from Punjab by the beginning of March 2015 and 10,000 retailers from the country by the end of the year 2018. Nahar Group is leading textile giant of Northern India manufacturing.

This would be immensely beneficial for the industry and the retailers as well. Generally the booking is done in a advance for the coming season but now the retailers would be able to get the supply with in twenty four hours of the order being booked. As there are no distributors or the other middle men hundred percent margin would be there for the retailers who could transfer benefits to the general customers as well. This would mean advantage for the customers as well.

Generally the Industry is into outsourcing and the Indian brands are not being promoted. With this portal the manufacturers would be able to sell their own brands and the new brands could also be launched easily and popularized easily on the portal itself. Even they might be launching two of their brands shortly on this portal. Many small manufacturers who are giving a good quality do not have the resources and the marketing chain to popularize their products but with an online marketing support of this portal they would be able to do so and this would go a long way in enhancing the brand value of the Indian brands especially the ones from Ludhiana and Punjab.

Nahar group is quite excited with this endeavor which is being considered as the first of its kind in the region. Already it has twelve manufacturers including one from Agra and one brand each from Delhi and Mumbai as well. Other parts of the country as well are showing interest in this portal.
