Peru Moda 2015, an international trade show of the fashion industry in Peru presents designers with an opportunity to show their work. Minister of Foreign Trade and Tourism, Magali Silva foresees an explosion of exposure of Peruvian textiles work to the international fashion market from the event to culminate April 15-17 in Lima.
Not only is the event exposing up-and-coming designers from Peruvian fashion, but Young Creators to the World is also working to promote the country’s natural fibers, alpaca and cotton.
Twenty-four Peruvian fashion designers presented their artistic works in the first stage of Jovenes Creadores al Mundo (Young Creators to the World) as part of the framework of Peru Moda 2015.
The 24 designers are currently competing in the first stage where the judging committee is to assess the portfolios and designs of the artists. The top four will be chosen and announced on Feb. 4.
From there, the chosen four will be put up to the final test at the Peru Moda catwalk. The catwalk will be the deciding factor for the winning design.
The event will be showcasing the best of the Peruvian export supply in apparel, footwear, accessories and jewelry. It will also promote the direct contact between the Peruvian export companies and the international buyers from all five continents.
An ideal space for clients seeking creative proposals and an industry responding with maximum efficiency and promptness.
