The 9th edition of the Expotextil Peru 2015 that started on October 22, 2015 welcoming 24,000 visitors and 220 exhibitors from over 20 countries showcases products and services such as equipment, textiles, supplies, tools, apparel, software and several accessories for potential buyers at the event.

Businessmen are focused on closing new deals; designers introduce the latest garment models and machinery producing companies will display the latest technology aimed at the textile-garment sector.

According to Plastic Concept S.A.C General Manager Luisa Mesones, as the Expotextil Peru 2015 fair is attended by participants from Germany, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, South Korea, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Spain, United States, France, India, Italy, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Turkey, Uruguay and Venezuela. The fair is expected to lead to sales worth over US$100 million.

Attendees will be able to appreciate the latest fashion collections presented by entrepreneurs and designers, as well as the 4th edition of Gamarra Produce contest which is promoted by Peru's Production Ministry (Produce).

It should be noted Produce is in charge of displaying high quality textiles and garments elaborated by Peruvian micro- and small-sized enterprises (SMEs).

On the other hand, a total of 18 lectures on garments quality, women's fashion trends, fashion industry and competitiveness will be held.
